Meet the Team
Confidentiality, respect, and empathy are the cornerstones of our practice.

Michelle Chen
Director & Principal Therapist
I'm Michelle, a therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families through life’s challenges. I have worked across social services, community mental health, hospitals, schools, and private practice, which has shaped my understanding of the many factors that influence mental health and well-being.
I support clients navigating a broad spectrum of concerns, including life transitions, grief and bereavement, depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties. My therapeutic approach is client-centred, trauma-informed, and integrative, drawing from evidence-based and experiential modalities such as Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Family Therapy and expressive therapies.
Life’s challenges can leave us feeling disconnected — from ourselves, from others, and from a sense of purpose. Therapy offers a space to gently reconnect with our emotions, our bodies, and the people around us, as well as with parts of ourselves that may have been silenced or hidden by trauma and pain. As we rediscover what truly matters to us — what brings joy and energy, and what grounds us even in times of uncertainty — we uncover resilience: the capacity to adapt, grow through pain, and move forward with greater clarity, integration, and wholeness.
Whether you're reaching out during a moment of crisis or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to walk alongside you and offer a safe space where healing and growth can unfold - at your own pace, in your own way.

Gwen Ng
Therapist & Support Group Facilitator
I’m Gwen, a therapist and social worker who has been dedicated to the social service sector since 2005. Over the past two decades, my role has evolved from social service administration into specialised clinical practice, allowing me to bring a comprehensive, systems-level understanding to my work with individuals and families.
In family service and therapy settings, I support clients through challenges such as family violence, mental health, and marital concerns. I feel a deep resonance with the journey of loss, informed by my own experience of losing a spouse. This allows me to offer a space of deep understanding and empathy for those navigating both death and non-death losses. My approach is integrative, drawing from Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy, Family-focussed Loss and Grief, and Emotionally
Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT).
I believe that every individual possesses an innate capacity for change and growth. Therapy provides a space to explore our inner worlds and rediscover the resources needed to heal and thrive amidst life’s struggles. My practice is further enriched by my Master’s programme in the integration of psychology and spirituality, offering a professional approach that honours clinical excellence alongside a person’s unique values and journey towards restoration.
